Winds of the World is OUT!!!

I will keep this brief…

Today marks the release of the first book of Echoing and Eclipse, a milestone in any writer’s journey. Every writer has a reason for crafting a story, a desire to put words on paper and create lasting impressions on readers. At least that has always been and always will be my mindset when I write the next book. I love a good hook, line, and sinker.

As I write this, I realize that this journey has not been mine alone, but belongs to my family, my closest friends, and the many characters I have had the pleasure of conversing with. Without all of them, this story would have never been complete, at least not in the way I had always envisioned it. As hard as life has been, I believe things happen for a reason, and I have been made stronger and more focused because of them.

First, my mom, who has read everything I have ever written, down to the poorest of drafts and bits of story that never surfaced. She has offered her suggestions, and I have listened. There truly is no greater feeling.

Amy, my wife, who has put up with endless hours of writing and editing, knowing that this was my passion. Without her patience and resilience, Winds of the World would still be a story stuck in my head.

My brother and his wife, Aisha, for listening to my struggles to find a way to convey a story that was powerful, emotional, and unique.

My friends… all of you, wherever you are, and through the time that has passed between us, you have always inspired me to be better. Even though life has taken us many different paths, you will always have a place in my heart.

Lastly, Shadow Spark Publishing and the family I have been accepted into. Jess and Mandy, you took a chance on a dreamer. I owe you an outstanding debt of gratitude. I have said it before; this is the beginning of a long journey together.

The authors of Shadow Spark Publishing. We have had so many thoughtful conversations over the last few years, and getting to know so many of you has been wonderful. Thank you for listening. Sometimes all we need is for someone to listen, and we have done that.

Now the fans, soon to be, and the ones I have. Without a doubt, this book is for you. I hope you find a breathtaking world to get lost in. I remember reading Shannara and being completely taken by the world he created. This book has that same feel, and I am proud of it.

With Daylight Saving Time today, there is no better time than now to order the book and become immersed in a world as vast as life itself.

Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season,
